Construction, repair, and foundation consolidation interventions in urban environments often require the use of particularly compact machines capable of accessing closed environments (often underground) and operating in extremely confined spaces. To meet these needs, the Comacchio range offers a wide selection of hydraulic drills equipped with a separate power unit (installable on a crawler or wheeled chassis) that can be positioned up to 30 m away from the drill, significantly reducing the machine's footprint. The size of the drilling unit can be further reduced by using variable-width undercarriages. By positioning the power unit at a distance, emissions of fumes within the construction site are also avoided. Emissions can be completely eliminated through the use of electric motors, available on all models in this category. Comacchio drills with a separate power unit are equipped with a fully articulated kinematic system that allows for reaching various positions and inclinations of the mast. All models are suitable for the most common rotary and rotary-percussive drilling methodologies.
